Introduction
Crowdfunding feature for support ads
This service offers a crowdfunding feature that you can use as a means of raising funds for support advertising.
As we are affiliated with StellaAD Online, the funds raised through crowdfunding will be used directly as advertising expenses.
1. Steps for running a support ad (when using crowdfunding)
Applications for support advertisements can be made 3 to 5 months prior to the desired posting date.
To post an advertisement, permission is required from the relevant agency or rights holder.
If you have not yet received permission, please apply at least four months before the posting date.
In addition, for projects for which StellaAD is the advertising contact point, project pages (crowdfunding recruitment pages) will also be created with the consent of the rights holder.
2. How to apply
Please read the " StellaAD Online Terms of Use " and apply by following the steps below.

STEP 2. Add your desired ad space to your cart
STEP 3. Check "I would like to implement crowdfunding" and apply
*When you apply, you will be asked to select the payment method, but please select "bank transfer".
*If you apply for a B0 station poster, printing will be done using "StellaAD", so be sure to check "Optional printing".
3. Types of projects
Crowdfunding projects can be organized in two ways:
◆ Goal-achieving type
If the donation does not reach the target amount, the full amount will be refunded to the backers.
◆ Execution guarantee type
The project will still go ahead even if the target amount is not reached.
Any shortfall will be borne by the organizers, so please set reasonable goals.
4. From creating a project page to publishing it
After confirming the content of your support advertisement, we will send you a form in which you can enter the necessary information for the "Project Page Content."
The page will be created based on your responses and will be published after you have confirmed it.
*The content cannot be edited after the page is published.
*Regarding both goal-achievement and commitment-based campaigns, recruitment will close two and a half months before the campaign is posted. If you wish to close the campaign earlier, please contact us in advance.
Once released, fan groups can advertise their participation through their social media accounts.
Please also use social media to update project progress and make announcements (updating the page itself is not permitted).
5. From project decision to advertising
Even if you use crowdfunding, the review schedule and rules for advertising designs and social media announcements are the same as for regular support ads.
StellaAD will be responsible for printing the advertisements and delivering them to the media company.
6. Post-project response
After the project is completed, please do the following:
①Reward distribution
Distribution of rewards is to be handled by fan groups.
・When sending messages or digital data, we will share the supporter's email address.
・If there are physical rewards such as goods, we will share information such as the supporter's address.
*Supporters' personal information is prohibited from being used for any purpose other than distributing rewards.
*If the rights holder has specified terms and conditions regarding support advertising, please set up your rewards in accordance with those terms.
②Income and expenditure report
We would like the representative of the fan group to report to supporters on how the crowdfunding funds were used.
Please submit your report within the same month as the posting. You can share it on social media or via return email.
③Refunds
We will refund the amount of the collected donations minus fees and advertising costs (media costs and printing costs).
*No fees will be charged for advance recruitment.
*Refunds will be made at the end of the month following the month of posting. Please prepare documents such as an invoice that can verify payment.
*Fees are subject to change. Official details will be announced at the start of the service.
*Advertising costs (media costs and printing costs) vary depending on the content displayed.
When confirming with the agency or rights holder of your favorite artist whether or not you can carry out a "support advertisement" or "crowdfunding," we will first confirm the following items.
Please check the following points beforehand:
- Regarding whether or not you plan to offer a reward (thank you for your support) *If you are planning to offer a reward other than a "thank you email," please provide the specific details.
- Whether or not you are using crowdfunding to raise funds for expenses not directly related to the support advertisement. *Please specify the details of the expenses, e.g., "costs for celebratory flowers."
- Regarding materials to be used *Please list any photographs, derivative illustrations, or other materials you plan to use.
- Regarding the crowdfunding format: *Please let us know whether you plan to use the "commitment to execution" or "goal achievement" format.

Based on the information you provide, we will proceed with the confirmation process with your agency.
Regarding confirmation with the affiliated agency
It may take up to one month for the office to respond.
We appreciate your understanding in advance.
About application
■Applications can be made 3 to 5 months prior to the advertisement posting date.
*If you have not yet received permission from the office, please apply at least four months before posting.
1. After registering as a new member on StellaAD Online, add the desired advertisement to your cart, check the box for "I would like to implement crowdfunding," and apply.
2. Office confirmation (if necessary)
If you require permission from the office, please apply at least four months in advance.
3. Create a project page
Estimated production period: Minimum 5 business days *Depending on the advertising medium, it may take time to confirm the content in advance.
How long does it take for the project page to be published ?
4. Recruiting participants (crowdfunding period)
Application period: Approximately one month
5. Securing advertising space (reserving space)
Two and a half months before posting *Advertising space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a possibility that we may not be able to secure the space you desire.
6. Design production
You can also request the design from StellaAD.
7. Design Review
Review period: Approximately one month before posting. *Announcements on social media will also be reviewed. (SNS announcements must be made two weeks before posting.)
8. Advertising
StellaAD will handle the printing and delivery of the advertisements.
9.Reward distribution and income/expense report
We will distribute the reward items and report on the income and expenditure of the donations.
There are two types of crowdfunding:
The timing of project completion and payment for the product will vary, so please choose according to your needs.

The project will only be completed and implemented if the target amount set by the project representative is reached.
■ Timing of establishment
The donation will be completed when the target amount is reached.
■ Recruitment end date
The auction will end when the maximum number of items is reached or the application period ends, whichever comes first.
*Please set the application period within one month of publication.
*The end date of the application period must be set at least two and a half months before the planned posting week.
■ Payment period for the product
Payment will be made at the later of "when the purchase procedure is completed" or "when the project is established."
*If the project is not completed, payment will not be made.
[2] Guaranteed execution type (all-in method)
■Project details
Even if the target amount set by the project representative is not reached, the project will still be carried out.
■ Timing of establishment
The project will be completed when the project page is published.
■ Recruitment end date
The auction will end when the maximum number of items is reached or the application period ends, whichever comes first.
*Please set the application period within one month of publication.
*The end date of the application period must be set at least two and a half months before the planned posting week.
■ Payment period for the product
Payment will be made when the purchase process is completed.

◼About fees
A fee will be charged at the time of payment depending on the total amount of support for the project. The fee rate according to the amount is as follows.
Total support amount...commission rate
・Under 200,000 yen・・・15%
・200,000 yen or more but less than 300,000 yen: 10%
・Over 300,000 yen: 5%
*The fee is calculated based on the actual amount of support received. It is not determined by the plan or estimated amount at the time of application.
*The fee will be automatically deducted from the support amount at the time of payment.
About the launch of the project
① Create an account and apply for advertising space
- First, please check the "StellaAD Online Terms of Use (link)".
- If you agree to the terms and conditions, please create an account on "StellaAD Online."
- Select the ad space you want and add it to your cart.
- On the cart screen, check "I would like to participate in crowdfunding" and apply.
*If you are applying for a B0 station poster, please also check the print option. Printing will be handled by "Stella AD".
② Select payment method
When you apply, you will be asked to select your payment method. Please select "Bank Transfer".
③ Regarding filling in the remarks column
Please be sure to fill in your desired format in the "Remarks" section.

Deadline for project start
If you would like to start a project, please apply 3-5 months in advance of the desired posting date.
Support advertisements require permission from the agency and rights holder, so sufficient preparation time is required.
Please apply early and leave plenty of time in your schedule.
How do I start a project? (Jump to the same page)
After applying through StellaAD Online, you will need to obtain permission from your agency and prepare the content to be posted on the project page.
Based on the information you provide, we can publish it within five business days.
*Please note that if it takes time to obtain permission from the agency or prepare the content to be published, or if corrections are necessary during the content review process, it may take longer than the above.

Applications for Stellar Dream Funding can be made 3 to 5 months before the planned posting date of your support advertisement.
In order to post a support advertisement, permission must be obtained from the agency or rights holder.
Creation of the crowdfunding project page (page for recruiting supporters) will also proceed after obtaining permission, so if you have not yet received permission from the office, please apply at least four months before posting.
Application process
STEP 1. Create an account on StellaAD Online
STEP 2. Add your desired ad slot to your cart and apply
STEP 3. After confirming the details, the Support Advertising Office will send you a form to create a project page.
Important points to note when creating an account
To create an account, you must first agree to the " StellaAD Online Terms of Use ." Please read the terms carefully before registering.
If the "targets you want to support" or "purpose of advertising" are different, you can apply for multiple projects at the same time.
Procedures are required for each project, so please apply separately according to the project content.
There is no cost to discuss your project or to post your page.
Only when donations are collected will a fee be charged according to the amount of donations.

As a general rule, we only post projects within Japan.
You will also need to have a bank account in your name located in Japan.
About creating a project page
About each item when creating a project
① Title
It is an important element that will become the "face" of the project.
Make sure your title is eye-catching and intriguing.
- Character limit: 50 characters or less
- Recommendation: 30-45 characters is ideal as it will display uninterrupted on social media.
- Example: Aim for the Nation! Byorun-chan Solo Live Celebration Advertising Project
② Header image
This is the image that will be displayed at the top of the project page and on the StellaAD online homepage.
The ideal visual is one that is eye-catching and conveys the content.
- Recommended size: 1408 x 792 px (minimum: 704 x 396 px)
- Image size: 500KB or less recommended (maximum 3MB)
- Format: JPG recommended
*Header images can be added from the second image onwards, and YouTube videos can also be set.
③ Achieved amount/achievement rate
The status of your donation will be displayed on the page in real time.
④ Publication period
The page will display the time remaining for the project.
- Estimated deadline for applications: Ends two and a half months before the scheduled posting date
- For goal-based campaigns: Set the end date and time within 60 days of publication (if it exceeds this limit, it will automatically be set to 60 days later)
- You can also set it to end earlier.
⑤ Project type
You can choose from the following two types. Changes cannot be made after publication.
- Goal-achievement type: Completed only when the target amount is reached
- Execution guarantee type: Implement regardless of amount

This is a short sentence that succinctly conveys the appeal of the project. It is effective as an introduction to a detailed explanation.
- Character count: 250 characters or less (around 100 characters recommended)

- Organization name: The name you entered when you registered online with StellaAD will be displayed.
- Profile: Tell your supporters about your personality and your thoughts so that they can easily support you (recommended 100 characters)
- Profile Picture:
Recommended size: 116 x 116px / 500KB or less (up to 3MB) / JPG recommended
*The image will be displayed trimmed into a circle. - SNS and website URLs: You can enter URLs for X, Instagram, blogs, etc. Use them to spread the word about your project and report on its progress.
- Contact email address: Please enter an email address for your organization where you can be contacted at any time. This will be used to report on the progress of activities and communicate with participants.

- Summary: Displayed below the header image. 250 characters or less / around 100 characters recommended.
- Background and thoughts behind the project
- Introduction to the planners (information on the organizers, designers, etc.)
9. Crowdfunding details
▸ Target Amount
In addition to media and printing costs, the price can also include necessary expenses related to support advertising, such as design costs.

▸ Upcoming ads
Due to media company rules, you cannot specify the exact location of the ad. Please use an expression such as "somewhere in Tokyo."
*Since the slots will be allocated after the crowdfunding campaign is completed, it is not guaranteed that the desired media slot will be secured.

▸ Handling of surplus funds
If any surplus funds are generated, they should be used only for purposes that do not benefit individuals, such as donations to charitable organizations.

The group representative can freely set the rewards, but they must comply with the guidelines of the agency or rights holder.

Regarding shipping of returned items
All shipping of goods, data, etc. must be handled by the organization. Please specify the shipping and delivery date for each reward.

- Please be careful when handling personal information.
Important notes that must be included on the page
- Please refrain from contacting media companies or agencies directly. Please direct all inquiries to the organization.
- Minors (under 18 years of age) and high school students are not eligible to participate in the project.
- Cancellations are not possible after application.

Regarding return shipping
All shipping of rewards, such as physical goods and digital data, will be handled by the fan group. Please set the shipping or delivery date for each reward.

*For goal-based projects, if the target amount is not reached by even 1 yen, the project will not be completed.
Points to note when setting your target amount
■ Be sure to include fees
A payment fee (Stellar Dream Funding usage fee) will be charged.
Therefore, please set the target amount (tax included) to an amount that includes the fee .

■ If you don't want to spend any extra money
If you set the target amount so that it is divisible by the return amount , there will be no surplus and management will be smoother.
If the amount is not divisible, a surplus (fraction) will be generated.

*If you want to avoid excess funds, set a target amount that is neatly divided by the return amount.
■ If you wish to advertise overseas
If you are using overseas advertising media, please set the amount based on the exchange rate at the time of application.
Please note that even after the project is completed, there may be a difference in the amount due to fluctuations in the exchange rate. In some cases, you may be required to cover the shortfall.

If the amount of funds raised exceeds the target amount, the response will vary depending on the amount of surplus funds.

We will provide a refund.
However, refunded funds cannot be used for personal purposes. Please specify in advance how you intend to use the funds.

No refunds will be given.

Please apply only if you agree to the terms and conditions.

Please note that you cannot change the "target amount" yourself, even before the project is published. If you wish to change it, please be sure to contact the StellaAD Support Advertising Office.
Please note that once you make a project public, you cannot make it private again.
The application period can be set freely between 1 and 30 days.
However, due to the posting schedule for support ads, the project setup (end) must be completed by 23:59, two and a half months prior to the posting of the ad.
For the execution commitment type: If you complete the project two and a half months before the posting date, it is possible to complete the project earlier than the set period.
The same deadline of two and a half months before posting applies to goal achievement type applications.
After the project ends
Once your project is complete, first report its success on social media such as X. Don't forget to send a message of thanks to those who supported your project. After that, start preparing your support advertisements according to the posting schedule.
Regarding shipping of rewards (gifts)
The method of shipping rewards is left up to the project representative. Some projects may enclose an invoice, delivery note, or thank-you card. Once shipping is complete, please notify all backers (by email, etc.) that shipping has been completed.
The response varies depending on the project format.
■ For goal-oriented projects
If the target amount is not reached within the fundraising period, the project will be canceled.
In this case, the donations from the backers will not be settled.
- No fees or settlement charges
- No obligation to implement the project
- No obligation to send rewards

■ For projects with a commitment to execution
Even if the target amount is not reached, the project will be considered successful and will be carried out.
In this case, the project representative will be responsible for covering the remaining amount after deducting the contributions made by backers from the target amount.
Please handle any shortfalls as follows:
- Credit card payment: Immediate payment
- Bank transfer: Transfer to the account specified by our company (please bear the bank transfer fee)
When deciding on a project format, please make sure you understand the characteristics of each format before making your selection.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
If there is a delay in providing rewards, we ask that you notify backers as soon as possible.
Specifically, we recommend that you explain the reason for the delay and the expected timeframe through your organization's social media accounts (such as X).
Even if a delay occurs, if you communicate properly, it will lead to understanding and trust from your supporters.
In addition, it would be reassuring if you could regularly inform us that the issue is being addressed and provide updates on the progress.
Depending on the reward, StellaAD will provide you with the necessary information.
Based on this information, the project representative will be responsible for shipping and managing the rewards themselves.
Please be careful when handling the personal information of supporters and manage it appropriately.
If you have any concerns about how your information will be handled, please contact us in advance.
The transfer amount will be the total support amount minus the "system usage fee" and "payment fee."
*The specific commission rate and amount may vary depending on the content, so please feel free to contact the StellaAD Support Advertising Office for more information.
We do not normally issue a statement of the transfer amount.

Frequently asked questions from project leaders
Q1. Can I use this in conjunction with other crowdfunding campaigns?
A. During the Stellar Dream Funding recruitment period, it cannot be used in conjunction with other crowdfunding services.
However, outside of the "Stellar Dream Funding" project period, it is possible to collect funds using other services (please note that this is at the fan group's own risk).
Q2. In the case of a guaranteed execution type, is it possible to secure advertising space before the crowdfunding campaign ends?
A. If you use the execution guarantee type, you can reserve advertising space in advance (reserve space) even before the crowdfunding project ends. Please note the following points.
- We will arrange for the frame to be set up after you have paid the full advertising fee (e.g. if you would like a B0 station poster, this will be the advertising fee + printing fee).
- Please note that cancellations and refunds are not possible after the frame has been reserved.
- After the crowdfunding campaign ends, we will refund your donation in proportion to the amount of your donation.
Q3. I want to share the project on social media.
A. At the top of each project page, there is an X and an Instagram share button. By clicking on each button, you can easily share and spread the word about the project.
Sharing on social media is a very effective way to spread the word about your project and increase the number of supporters, so please make use of it!
Q4. How to embed in a blog
Click the Embed button at the top of each project page to display a screen where you can obtain the embed code.
Operating Procedure
- Click the Embed button at the top of the project page
- On the screen that appears, select the image size you want to display on your blog.
- Click the Copy button to copy the embed tag.
- Paste the copied tag into the appropriate location in your blog's HTML source.
